there's nothing to go back to

I've realized what has kept me in a limbo stage for some time now is really not the lack of motivation, discipline, commitment, or whatever other diagnosis I've tried to give my problems.

It's that I enter new chapters of my life, still trying to use language that no longer fits the story I'm writing. And when I think of it that way I realize that it doesn't really help. Now that I know what the problem is, what am I going to do about it? Truth is, I have no idea. And that's why I have made it so important to keep God as the center and head of my life, because I have no idea what I'm really doing half the time. I just know now more than I've ever known that there's no going backwards. What's ahead of me is greater than what has gone, but I have to truly commit towards moving forward.

I don't have much more to add here. This was really just something that's been on my heart for quite some time. I would really hate to look back ten years from now and realize that this was the time I could have chosen to do something different, to chase new dreams, to write a new story and instead I chose comfort and allowed my feelings to lead my life.
